Our Sandy Creek project consists of a 840MWdc solar farm and battery energy storage system (BESS), located 25 kilometres south-west of the township Dunedoo in the New South Wales Central West, within the local government areas of Warrumbungle Shire Council and Dubbo Regional Council.

We’re in the early stages of this project and are sharing our plans with local residents and the surrounding community to gather their feedback on the land we have identified. Following this engagement, we will conclude a range of detailed assessments, before undertaking the statutory pre submission consultation.

We hosted three community information sessions earlier this year, including a virtual session on January 31st, and in person sessions in both Dunedoo and Gulgong on February 5th. The community information leaflet with information on these sessions is available below.

We would like to ensure that our engagement is inclusive, and are aware that not everyone in the community may have been available to attend the sessions. You can view the pre-recorded presentation for the on-line session in the video towards the bottom of this page and if you would like to receive a call back from the team to discuss the Project, or know of someone who would, we would be pleased to arrange at a convenient time. Contact information can be found in the ‘Get Involved’ section below.
